I promise to post more later (probably tomorrow, to be realistic), but we did go to the ultrasound and everything is fine! The baby is measuring 12 weeks 1 day, and I'm 12 weeks 2 days today, so that's fine. Just like Beth said, we could see the eyes, nose, mouth, little hands and feet, and everything! The baby moved, too, so we started out with a perfect profile, and then the baby turned so we saw the full face and little hands moving up and down (looked like the baby was waving to us)!
I have to run! Last night, my dear friend who got married last week called to ask if she and her husband can crash at our place tonight on their way to their honeymoon! I'm so excited, but, yikes, the house is a disaster!

Isn't it amazing how perfectly formed they are already! And they move around so much even though you probably won't feel him/her for another several weeks! That is the BEST feeling ever :)
That is amazing, almost surreal! I went with my girlfriend to her ultrasound and I was freaking out in tears, because it looked like a little jumping bean. It wasn't even mine and I was filled to the brim! I kept saying do you feel that, and the doctor was like NO! :) ARGH! I love stanky little babies!! So excited for you!!

Post the ultrasond picture!! Please?? My next one is in 2 weeks at my 10 week appt, so i hope i can see more of a "baby" this time. After this one they won't do one until 20 weeks so i'll have to wait 10 whole weeks to see the baby, that seems like a really long time!
